Why this bracket?

  • 3 mass finishers over 6 token generators — a go-wide alpha-strike engine — but the goldfish sim wins around turn 10 (Bracket 2 "Core" pace, ~8+ turns), not the ~6-7 of an Upgraded deck, so this theme engine alone does not floor Bracket 3
  • Borderline verdict — close to B3: optimization score 31/75 sits in the B3 range, without the deliberate-upgrade signals (deep synergy engine, premium manabase, supported alternate win) that separate an Upgraded build from a precon
  • High optimization — score 31/75 (10 card-advantage sources, 9 interaction spells, 3 combos) — raises this deck above its hard floor
  • Engine accuracy reference: 100% bracket-in-range across 36 validation decks (engine beats Claude Sonnet/Opus/Haiku on bracket-exact).

How it compares

Against the 4 Duskmourn: House of Horror Commander decks we analyzed, this is 2nd strongest — power 4.9 versus a set average of 4.8. That is about average for the library (4.7 across 64 precons). Its Tipping Point lands on turn 4, the same as the library median.

Upgrade this precon

6 staples this deck does not already run — all legal in Zimone, Mystery Unraveler's color identity, none over $20, and none of them a Game Changer, so none forces a Bracket 3 floor on its own. Adding cards can still move the bracket: paste the updated list back into the calculator to re-check.

Add all 6 to TCGplayer cart — about $9.37
